Steve Forbes Predictions from Omaha: Romney and Gold Standard

Steve Forbes spoke in Omaha last night. It was a private event attended mostly by rich investors clamoring for insights from the famous billionaire. After some familiar lines about the complexity of the tax code (70 million words vs. only 775,000 in the whole Bible), he moved on to even more exciting topics like monetary policy. He joked that “the surest way to end a bad date quickly is start a conversation about monetary policy.” After listening to him, I think he’s right.
