Ever since her speech at the Republican National Convention on Tuesday night, Ann Romney has been trending on Twitter. We have seen spikes and topics that motivated the trend, giving it legs well into Wednesday afternoon. A favorite topic was people commenting on Ann’s favorite TV show, Modern Family, since it has a gay couple on the show. Another topic is Fox News commentator Juan Williams calling Ann Romney a “corporate wife” on air. The majority of social media opinion is right down party lines with the left making digs at her wealth and the right stating she “knocked it out of the park” with her speech. How do you feel that Ann Romney did?
If it’s Ann Romney’s job to humanize Mitt, then who’s going to humanize Ann?

“Modern Family is a great show about two familes who are related to a girl named Lily being raised by Bert & Ernie.” -Ann Romney.

Ann Romney talking about middle class moms is like Chris Christie talking about a salad.

Ann Romney regaled us with a Dickensian tale of using an ironing board as a kitchen table. That must have pissed off the maid who ironed.

Speech I’d have preferred: “my husband is a robot. A robot programmed to create jobs.”
